Please join us on Friday, January 2, 2015, to celebrate the swearing in of our next Mayor, Attorney General, Members of the Council and State Board of Education, as well as Advisory Neighborhood Commissioners.
The swearing in ceremony for Councilmembers and Mayor will begin at 9:30 AM and will take place at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center, located at 801 Mount Vernon Place NW. The event is open to the public.
The swearing in ceremony for Advisory Neighborhood Commissioners will begin at 3:00 PM and will take place at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center, ballrooms A & B. The event is open to the public, however it is recommended that attendees arrive at 2:30 PM due to space constraints.
