Friends and neighbors,
Late last month I walked by the scene of a house fire at 2600 24th St. NE. One person in the home was transported to the hospital with serious injuries. Two firefighters were transported with minor injuries.

Commissioner Deleon tours Federal City Council
I had the opportunity to tour the Federal City Council recently thanks to my friend Nicole. The FCC seeks to strengthen the economic vitality and livability of the entire Washington region through a singular focus on the betterment of the city at the region’s core. On my tour I got to see this neat model of the proposed redevelopment of the land north of Union Station, which the FCC is advocating for. Very cool stuff!
Welcome to 5C-02 Hank!
I’d like to extend my congratulations to John and Danielle on the birth their new baby Henry!
Thanks for reading and all the best,
Walter Deleon
