2015 DC Student Leadership Summit at GWU

All college students in DC are invited to attend this FREE quarterly summit on November 14th from 2-4pm at George Washington University (room TBD).

Meet other area college students and discuss important policy decisions, development projects, and changes affecting their respective universities. There will also be discussions on citywide and nationwide policies affecting DC’s college students. Thanks to Alex Bradley, Peter Sacco, and everyone else involved in making this quarterly summit happen.

Join Monday’s Slow Down Campaign: Help Keep Our Kids Safe!

Monday is the first day of school in Washington, D.C. and the Mayor’s office needs your help! Statement on proposed service cuts to the B8, B9 buses

Help #ClearTheShelters! Adopt From a Participating Shelter this weekend!

On August 15 join a nation wide push to find homes for deserving pets in need.

Many of our local shelters have cut or completely waived the cost of adoptions for August 15 and you can take a new dog, cat, puppy, kitten or even bunny(!) home with you for a reduced price or even FREE.  Hundreds of pets are available and have already been spayed or neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped.
